IDC's Computing Platforms Research Team is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to support its research and business development efforts in this sector.
Key topic areas to be covered include infrastructure technologies and platforms, specifically:
(1) Computing hardware such as servers, workstations and gateways from leading vendors such as Hewlett-Packard, Dell and Lenovo
(2) Commercial and non-commercial/open-source operating platforms such as Linux, UNIX and Microsoft Windows
(3) Heterogeneous computing such as GPUs and FPGAs
(4) Virtualization technologies from leading vendors such as VMware, RedHat, and Docker
