IDC is looking for an Account Executive who will be responsible for selling into new(er) technology vendor accounts.  Annual new business sales target is approximately $450k per year with a new account target of 10 to 15 emerging vendor clients. 

 

The position is based in San Mateo, CA.

 

Responsibilities

The expectation is that the Account Executive will meet all minimum activity requirements. 

  • Average 30 phone calls and 30 show me you know me emails daily
  • Entering all activities in Salesforce.com
  • Minimum of 12 in person meetings - where applicable geographically. 
  • 20% travel required.

Qualifications

  • Nurture and develop existing client relationships
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Proven experience in managing multiple client relationships, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies in a similar environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 2 or more years of sales experience in a technology environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal (phone) communication skills
  • Database management (Salesforce), attention to detail, and organization
  • Strong MS office skills
