    The Client Relationship Manager role is a key individual contributor to IDC’s Financial Services team. The Manager has 3 main priorities: effective team management, superior customer service, and research support/content curation. This role requires a dynamic and independent self-starter who is highly customer centric.


    In this position, the Manager works directly with senior level executives at financial services firms to support their ongoing research projects while also proactively driving adoption and usage of IDC research and services.  The Manager will directly manage about 15 accounts on an ongoing basis. As a trusted business partner, the Manager is focused on a positive client experience above all else.  It is crucial that the Manager build strong relationships with the financial services clients to ensure high customer renewal rates.


    The Manager also works closely with research teams across IDC to ensure that we are providing our clients with the most current and relevant research available to them. In this way, the Manager is also involved in project management, content curation and research development. The Manager collaborates with Sales to insure onboarding and renewals are properly processed.


    In addition, this role requires direct management of members of the Financial Services team. We expect the Manager to be a strong leader and foster a positive team environment. Importantly, we expect the Manager to support the professional growth of the team.  

    Finally, IDC’s Financial Services business is a growing and dynamic business with a very demanding client base. The Manager will approach all activities with a “whatever it takes” attitude to support clients, team members, and IDC colleagues.  


    • Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years related experience in Client Relations
    • Previous Financial Services experience required
    • Demonstrated experience in content curation
    • Exceptional written and verbal skills
    • Project Management Skills
    • Ability to work on site and collaborate with direct reports and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
