    IDC, the global leader in technology market research, is looking for an experienced Account Executive.

     

    The Account Executive is an outside sales position focused on client renewal/retention and growth through new products and services.  The territory for this role includes an average of 30 clients based on the west coast of the U.S.

     

    This is a great opportunity for a high-energy, charismatic and driven sales professional to join our world class sales team! 


    This position is based in San Mateo, CA.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with C-level executives to align IDC’s value with client’s strategy
    • Account management with outcome of increased customer satisfaction and increase in renewal/retention & account growth
    • Proficiency in account planning and territory management
    • Accurate monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting
    • Learn IDC products and services, that align with your territory, accounts and competitors
    • The ideal Account Executive is passionate about helping clients get the most value out of their market reseach investment and will focus on renewing contracts, business retention, and account growth  

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
    • 2+ years of sales experience in a technology environment
    • Strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills
    • High emotional intelligence
    • Proven experience in managing multiple client relationships, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies in a similar environment.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Approximately 20% travel
