    We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive to focus on selling to and maintaining 3-5 major accounts. 

     

    This position is located in San Mateo, CA.

    Responsibilities

    • Generate revenue in both renewal and new sales of IDC products
    • Develop an in-depth knowledge of IDC products and services, as well as building strong relationships with individuals across IDC
    • Prospect for incremental opportunities, follow up on proposal generation, respond to client requests for information and/or problems, and continue to enhance the client value proposition

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of outside sales experience including account development and management

    • Strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills

    • Prior experience selling an intangible product or service is a plus

    • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience developing existing accounts and developing high level relationships

    • Additionally, this person will be entrepreneurial, motivated, assertive, and collaborative, as well as be a self-starter and a quick-thinker

    • This position requires strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail

    • Prior market research industry sales experience is helpful, but not required

    • Prior telephone cold calling experience preferred
    • This position may require up to 30% travel (mostly local travel)
