IDC is seeking an Executive Council Manager to facilitate the vibrancy of the peer-to-peer network of CIO clients and lead the delivery of the council  experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage client-facing aspects of delivering the CIO Executive Council program
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with the IT Executives in the Council to build a vibrant peer group.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of the CIO Executive Council experience to our clients, including access to identified IDC and member generated content via the digital resource center, craft topics & agenda for roundtables and other gatherings, manage enablement of peer connections.
• Connect opportunities for Council member participation to IDC research
• Identify topics to feed into the analyst team for future research
• Engage with and build relevant relationships with Foundry, an IDG company, to connect opportunities for Council community members to share their thought leadership via Foundry media outlets
• Leverage the CIO Executive Council LinkedIn page to grow awareness and extend reach to current and new audiences. Regularly post interesting, publicly available content and Council member announcements.
Ensure council program is operating efficiently and effectively-identifying and taking initiative to optimize delivery of the product experience.
• Create key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure health of the product and product experience including, but not limited to, analysis, insights, and reporting
• Manage digital engagement (i.e. resource center) to ensure high engagement, and use of digital, self-service capabilities by the community
• Partner with IDC Product Management to continually evaluate product health and identify future product changes to enable IDC/IDG business strategy.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Marketing
  •  5+ years’ experience in management of internal business (non-IT)  programs 
  •  3+ years of managing customer advisory groups, peer-to-peer professional C-Suite enterprise communities, and/or executive councils
  •  Proven experience building excellent client relationships
  •  Demonstrated ability to build and manage highly engaged peer-to-peer communities
  •  Understanding of best practice omni-channel experiences, digital product  and content delivery.
  •  Knowledge and understanding of the CIO role, IT function and key issues facing IT executives
  •  Demonstrated creativity, writing, and speaking skills
  •  Experience running complex projects, prioritizing workloads, meeting deadlines, facilitate work in cross-functional teams in a fast paced, global, matrixed organization.
  •  Strong influencing skills ,executive presence and ability to create stakeholder alignment.
  • This role can be based IDC's Needham, MA headquarters, with a hybrid work schedule or an approved remote US location.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $112,0000 and $140,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
