IDC's Research Team is seeking a Manager Research Transformation to support driving strategic initiatives and transformational projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, optimizing business processes, and ensuring long-term sustainability and growth of the organization. The Manger of Research  Transformation plays an important role in  helping guide the research organization through periods of change and ensuring it remains competitive and adaptable in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and documenting the transformation strategy and roadmap. Support driving the transformation agenda
• Document and support the design, development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of change/transformation for the Research Organization
• Lead workstreams within the improvement and change/transformation project portfolio, including leading and/or supporting the design, development and execution of workshops
• Support the development and documentation of the transformation story and the documentation and execution of the change communication plan
• Provide project management, operational excellence/continuous/process improvement to ensure project agendas are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with various departments, business units, and to identify opportunities for transformation and improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful transformation.
• Identify and leverage emerging technologies and innovation to enhance business processes, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
• Regularly report on the status and impact of initiatives to the executive team and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage feedback and input from employees at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 5-7 years of change management experience encompassing change strategy design, implementation and ongoing monitoring 
• Demonstrated experience in delivering change management plans for large scale transformational initiatives (e.g., technology, organizational) 
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
 Proven success where transformation initiatives are long lived/sustainable in the desired changes and impact 
• Certification or practical experience with change models in change management,continuous improvement,operational excellence, program or project management, and/or management consulting would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle 

 

This role can be based in a remote US approved location.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $102,000 and $126,200 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
