Overview

IDC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales System Manager to lead our Revenue technology platform strategy and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for the scale, reliability and sustainability of running our Salesforce platform, connected third-party tools (e.g. Hubspot), and internal Revenue systems to enable our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and other teams. This is a strategic role that requires a clear vision and a strong track record in development, delivery, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Salesforce platform, connected third-party tools, and internal Revenue systems, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain a clear vision and roadmap for the Revenue technology stack, incorporating feedback from stakeholders across the organization
  • Proactively engage with Sales teams to understand pain points, identify gaps in functionality, and define creative solutions that enhance productivity
  • Drive standardized tools and best practices to ensure scale, quality assurance, and seamless integration of Salesforce solutions with other systems and processes
  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to run and optimize the Revenue technology platform
  • Individually own development and delivery of critical deliverables for the strategy
  • Partner with SFDC and other strategic vendors to plan out the platform roadmap to scale our GTM systems to future demands
  • Evaluate, select and manage third-party contractors as needed to drive execution against the roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product management, sales, marketing, customer support, and finance, to define and prioritize business requirements
  • Ensure the effective integration of the Salesforce platform with other enterprise systems and data sources
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, adopting best practices in agile software development, DevOps, and quality assurance
  • Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce features, technologies, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent military experience required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce platform; expertise in Salesforce administration tools and technologies
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and best practices
  • Experience/familiarity with sales methodologies and frameworks (like Challenger, MEDDIC, etc.) and ability to map sales processes into the Revenue technology stack
  • Excellent strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Salesforce certifications are highly preferred

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $126,500. and $148,500. and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
