Overview

IDC is seeking a Product Owner, Finance Systems to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and an understanding of the Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report lifecycles. This role requires a blend of technical and functional expertise to be a part of the optimization of our financial systems and will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

This position is hybrid with the expectation of being on site in Needham, MA as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Business As Usual support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) modules
  • Troubleshoot reported issues, work with team members to resolve and follow up on the action items
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze requirements for various projects
  • Create and maintain detailed requirements documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps and user stories using tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Work closely with PMO and technology development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Assist in data migration, system testing, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), and training
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-4 years or more of experience as a Product Owner, in the Finance and procurement domain
  • Experience with MS D365, preferably F&O
  • Experience working with Finance, Sales and procurement teams
  • Experience working with various business SMEs across finance
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies and tools
  • Comfortable with financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, Power BI, Excel, OneStream, Avalara and Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between 126,500. and 136,000. and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
