Responsibilities

  • Directs all financial functions in an organization.
  • Establishes internal controls for monitoring assets, capital investments, controlling costs, and measuring liquidity.
  • Serves as a liaison with senior leadership from accounting on matters of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
  • Summarizes the financial status of the organization; interprets asset ratios, break-even analysis reports, profit margins, operating costs, stock value (if applicable), and other metrics used in measuring fiscal stability.
  • Communicates with operations, marketing, HR, IT, and other departments on matters of budget approval and ROI for specific projects.
  • Prepares for audits and makes certain that financial reporting is completed properly, and that all documentation follows applicable regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 12 years experience and 7 years management experience.
  • Responsible for directing the financial functions of budgeting, financial reporting and financial analysis
  • Manages a team of financial analysts.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret financial data, generate insights, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; advanced Excel skills are a must with powerBI desired
  • Ability to collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ethical financial practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Keeps abreast of function or unit objectives. Interacts with direct reports and peers in management / customers / vendors to interpret information and improve cross-functional processes and programs.
  • Builds and enhances major internal and external contacts.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The anticipated  compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $240,00 and $300,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
