Overview

IDC is seeking a high-performing Director or Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our product organization at IDC. This person will play a key role in building IDC's partner ecosystem by establishing and managing high-impact partnerships to unlock new revenue streams for IDC and accelerate product innovation. This is a rare opportunity to shape how IDC connects with the broader market intelligence and AI ecosystem.

 

This role can be fully remote in an IDC approved, United States location with preference for San Mateo, CA or East Coast locations

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new potential partnerships aligned with IDC's strategy
  • Own and drive end-to-end partnership development with key data, cloud, and AI companies
  • Orchestrate and lead partner negotiations, structuring, and integration—ensuring alignment with product, tech and sales
  • Partner with legal to ensure partnerships comply with IDC's guidelines
  • Maintain executive relationships with partners, including QBRs and joint GTM planning
  • Track industry trends to identify new opportunities in AI, market intelligence, and data ecosystems
  • Occasional travel expected

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Mix of technical (e.g. B.S in Engineering) and business (e.g.MBA) background preferred
  • 10+ years in strategic partnerships, corporate development, or ecosystem strategy, ideally in B2B, SAAS, AI or Data
  • Deep understanding of AI and data licensing and monetization models
  • Experience structuring high-value agreements and managing long-term relationships
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Executive presence and fluency in speaking to C-level audiences

At IDC US, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. We pay our employees equitably for their work, commensurate with their individual skills and experience. Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $220,000.-$280,000. USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
