Overview

IDC is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of People Enablement to lead the design and delivery of training, learning, and enablement programs that support IDC’s research and data organization. As we continuously evolve with new ways of working, this role will be critical in equipping our people with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to thrive in a dynamic, future-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in learning and development, curriculum design, change enablement, and program management. They will partner cross-functionally to build scalable enablement strategies that support both immediate goals and long-term organizational capability building.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Drive Strategy:
    Create and execute a comprehensive people enablement strategy that aligns with our business strategy and fosters adoption of evolving ways of working across the organization.
    • Design Learning Programs:
    Design modern, engaging, and scalable learning programs that build critical capabilities and support behavior change.
    • Curriculum Development:
    Oversee and engage in the design of targeted learning curriculum, incorporating a range of modalities (e.g., self-paced learning, workshops, coaching, digital platforms) to suit different learning styles and needs.
    • Program Management:
    Drive end-to-end program management for key people initiatives, from planning and development through launch and continuous improvement.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Partner with business leaders, HR, change management, and communications teams to ensure enablement programs are aligned, adopted, and impactful.
    • Measure Impact:
    Define success metrics and regularly assess program effectiveness, using insights to iterate and improve.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in learning & development, organizational effectiveness, or related roles
  • Proven success in designing and scaling enablement programs during periods of transformation
  • Expertise in adult learning theory, curriculum design, and instructional methodologies
  • Strong program and project management capabilities, including managing complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth or evolving environments
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, talent development tools, and data-driven approaches to L&
  • Preferred certification in learning & development, instructional design, or change management (e.g., CPLP, ATD, Prosci) 
  • Experience in agile organizations (preferred)
  • Passion for building cultures of learning, adaptability, and growth mindset (preferred)

At IDC US, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. We pay our employees equitably for their work, commensurate with their individual skills and experience. Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $140,000 and $155,000 USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
