Overview

IDC is seeking a FP&A analyst with FP&A experience. As FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in business partnering and meeting financial goals of the company. This role requires consistent application of critical thinking skills, sound financial logic, complex problem solving, and the ability to drive results through independent work and modelling. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and and working closely with executive business partners, you will provide financial insights, analysis, and decision support to informed strategic decision-making and profitability within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central coordinator for the Central Finance organization and primary point of contact across FP&A, Accounting, and business partners.
  • Update monthly actuals in finance systems, ensuring accuracy, GL tie-outs, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Manage the end-to-end forecast cycle: collect submissions, validate assumptions, and consolidate/roll up results for VP review.
  • Own the monthly FP&A calendar; align deadlines with the accounting close calendar and the cadence of executive meetings.
  • Coordinate timing of forecast activities to ensure inputs and materials are ready ahead of key executive reviews.
  • Lead similar coordination activities for the fiscal-year budgeting process (timelines, templates, submissions, consolidation, executive materials).
  • Archive monthly reporting packages, maintain version control, and prepare files/templates for the next month.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, including partnering with various groups to maintain and analyze benefits rates used in forecasting
  • Responsible for One Stream financial reporting tool activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Experience (3-5 years) in a similar strategic financial role. Preferred experience with modeling and expense forecasting
  • Strategic thinker comfortable working with abstract scenarios to identify and evaluate opportunities and outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret financial data, generate insights, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; advanced Excel skills are a must.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ethical financial practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $100,000 - $150,000. USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
