About the Role & Team
The Sr. Product Manager, Platform will help shape the core platform capabilities behind IDC Quanta, IDC’s technology intelligence layer for the AI economy. This role focuses on translating customer, user, partner, and internal stakeholder needs into scalable platform requirements across areas such as reliability, usage analytics, access experiences, agentic capabilities, adoption, and long-term extensibility. The Product Sr. Manager will own product discovery, definition, prioritization, and post-launch outcomes, working closely with technical product management and engineering partners who lead architecture and delivery. This is a high-impact role for a product leader who wants to help turn IDC’s research expertise and market insight into trusted platform capabilities that customers, partners, and internal teams can use with confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Own product discovery and definition for core IDC Quanta platform capabilities that support scalability, reliability, secure access, usage visibility, agentic workflows, and long-term growth.
  • Translate user, customer, partner, and internal stakeholder needs into clear platform use cases, product requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Technical Product Management and engineering to prioritize platform improvements that enable consistent identity experiences, secure access patterns, and scalable usage growth.
  • Define, monitor, and interpret product success metrics, including usage, adoption, engagement, and capability performance, using insights to guide iteration.
  • Align and sequence the IDC Quanta platform backlog across quarterly priorities, balancing customer value, technical dependencies, operational readiness, and long-term extensibility.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, data, research, and go-to-market partners to make platform capabilities understandable, usable, and commercially relevant.
  • Communicate roadmap context, scope tradeoffs, delivery progress, and post-launch outcomes to product leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related technical or quantitative field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally with platform, data, analytics, identity, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
  • Experience translating customer, user, and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
  • Working knowledge of Software as a Service platforms and the ability to partner credibly with engineering on scalability, reliability, access, data flows, and technical tradeoffs.
  • Experience defining, interpreting, and using product usage, adoption, engagement, or performance metrics to guide product decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across product, engineering, design, data, research, and go-to-market teams.
  • Clear, structured written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with AI-enabled products, agentic workflows, research platforms, information services, data products, or analytics platforms preferred.
  • High ownership, sound judgment, and comfort operating in ambiguity while balancing customer value, technical constraints, and business priorities.
  • Travel: up to 10%.
  • Work model: Remote.
